6th course on Epigenetics - 2010

The objective is to provide an overview of the epigenetic mechanisms and their link to chromatin dynamics. The different functions of the nucleus involving the genome and its organization will be discussed with an emphasis on the technological limits and the new experimental approaches developed today. Links between the disruption of nuclear function and the development of human pathologies will be presented.

M2 or PhD students (up to 12) of Parisian universities.
5 positions reserved to M2 students from UPMC.
Master or PhD students from France at large and European universities (up to 12).
Students and speakers will meet every day during lunch time and will have the opportunity to exchange.

Selection upon basis of applications.
Scientific articles chosen on the theme of the course will be attributed to selected applicants who will present and discuss these articles.
