IC-3i PhD program

12 fellows selected!

The IC-3i International Doctoral Programme cofunded by the European Commission: 12 fellows have been selected to join Institut Curie in October!

The final selection of the PhD fellows for the first call of the new IC3iPhD International Doctoral Programme, which offered 12 PhD positions, took place from May 23th to May 25th 2016. A total of 33 candidates from around the world were invited to Institut Curie Paris campus. In addition to their recruitment interviews, the candidates discovered the daily life of Institut Curie researchers by visiting the host laboratory of their choice and the technology platforms. They also got a glimpse of the fascinating history of Marie Curie and her family by going on an organized tour of the Museum.

These three days rich in discoveries ended with a cocktail and a bateaux mouches cruise on the Seine.

Following the interviews, 12 applicants were offered a position at Institut Curie, and they all accepted, reflecting the success of the recruitment campaign of the first call of the IC-3i International Doctoral Programme. We thank everybody that participated in the launching and implementation of this first call, and we are looking forward to welcoming the 12 successful candidates in October 2016.
The next call for applications will be organized in autumn 2016.
