Scientific presentation - from planning to delivery - 2015

Are you new to giving scientific presentations or not happy with the ones you have given already?
Are you confused by feedback from others?
Do you perhaps not even know how to start?
Then this course is for you.

We will discuss the elements of a successful scientific presentation, from planning to delivery. Important aspects will be structure and logic, accessibility, body language, speaking voice, and language. You will engage in practical exercises, group work, and games to develop and refine your presentation skills.

Course taught in English.

The course addresses PhD students and early postdocs.

The course has a maximum capacity of 12 participants.

Course starts at 9:00am and finishes at 6:00pm.
Lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30pm.

IMPORTANT: If you register for the course, please be aware that this is a full time commitment, and you will not have time for other meetings or experiments during the course hours.
