Training and education
Courses and training at the Institut Curie are particularly aimed at Master students, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, team leaders, Medical students, interns and young physicians interested in clinical and scientific activities within our institute, particularly in its vocation to understand the mechanisms underlying cancer and the treatment of this disease.
Our top tier scientific courses touch upon each of the specific research fields that are under investigation in our research units and medical departments. Training covers a broad spectrum of disciplines ranging from biology, genetics, chemistry, bioinformatics, physical chemistry, pathology to clinical oncology.
We also organize general courses focused on cutting edge approaches and continuously evolving technological platforms such as bioinformatics and biostatistics, mass spectrometry, cytometry, Image J. These practical courses are delivered by platform managers and enable these technologies to be directly implemented of these technologies in the context of a specific scientific project. Specialized cross-sectional trainings on topics such as intellectual property, writing a paper, ethics and others are also proposed throughout the year.
