Tremplin doctorants entreprises 2012

An information day on November 22nd provides a platform for contacts between PhD students and companies.

Institut Curie will be represented by Claire Hivroz, Research Director, Immunity & Cancer, Inserm/Institut Curie, training coordinator and by Alysia vandenBerg, Training Unit Manager, Research Center and Hospital Group.

Claire Hivroz and Alysia Vandenberg will moderate a workshop from 3.15pm to 4pm. They will present Institut Curie’s PhD training programs, career guidance for PhD students and young doctors and pathways between Institut Curie and companies.

The objectives of the “Tremplin des Doctorants” day include:

  • Promoting better knowledge of the labor market for corporate scientists and demonstrating its potential to PhD students and young doctors.
  • Allowing PhD students and young doctors to meet private research operators and local authorities. 
  • Supporting career development and creating pathways between the public and private sectors. 
  • Helping PhD students reflect on their career plans and improve their job-seeking approach.
