L'Institut Curie compte de nombreux alumni qui ont effectué leur master, leur doctorat ou leur post-doc à l'Institut et qui ont ensuite suivi des parcours professionnels variés. Nous aimerions vous en présenter quelques
This workshop is organized in the context of a long-standing collaboration between Cancer Sciences Institute, National University of Singapore (CSI, NUS) and the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris Sciences & Lettres (ENS, PSL), Paris, focusing on the application of recent high-throughput genome profiling methods to cancer, as well on the computational analysis and of the resulting data and on the development of predictive mathematical models.
These exchanges led to the organisation of a series of workshops in Paris (2013, 2018) and Singapore (2014, 2017, 2019, 2023, 2024), as well as to the organisation of a full course involving French and Singaporean researchers and held at the National University of Singapore, initially focusing on a practical initiation to Bioinformatics (springs 2019, 2020 and 2021), and currently focusing on the introduction of more advanced topics in Computational Genomics (springs 2022, 2023 and 2024).

This event principally aims at sharing our respective expertises in the fields of transcriptomics and computational biology, focusing in particular on applications to cancer profiling and treatment response assessment. It further aims at extending existing collaborations to reach out clinicians from both countries.

The workshop will span over three half-days over three days. All lectures will be given in English. Ample time will be reserved for discussion during these sessions.
The plenary talks will accommodate about up to 80 participants, including master students, PhDs, postdocs, engineers and researchers.
Visits of technological platforms and face to face meetings will be organised based on mutual interests.
Encounters with master students, PhDs and postdocs from Paris will be also organised to present internship and research opportunities at CSI, NUS, Singapore.
